THE HEALTH SUPPORTERS GROUP HAS RETIREDSadly the Health Supporters Group has retired. For many years the old group did a wonderful job of communicating with the Health Centre, its staff and patients, on top of fund raising.

The main function of a Support Group is to establish a dialogue between health professionals and the members of the community served by the practice. In this way services are better able to respond to people's needs and feelings. This positive approach builds on success and does not concentrate just on complaints but encourages praise as well as criticism.
